During class last week we focused very heavily on proper research methods and means of procuring resource materials. I found the discussion very helpful and it actually showed me a few things about the research databases that I did not know prior. We also received our groups for the upcoming projects. Were you guys pleased with your groups and the topics given to you? I was definitely pleased with both and am excited for the upcoming assignments.

I am definitely pleased with my topic and i believe that it will make this project a lot more fun because we will all be talking about things we are passionate about. I found the demonstration on research to be very helpful so I'm glad we all had the opportunity to learn more about that. I feel like one of my problems with this project is going to be not picking a side. While doing research I see a lot of opinionated arguments so it will be a little more difficult to go through and pick out the actual facts of my topic. Other than that I'm looking forward to this project!
ReplyDeleteFocusing on proper research and learning how to do so is definitely very influential. I believe it's so important to be able to back up the things you release into the world with factual evidence. The reason I believe this way is because by showing proof and evidence you become an overall more credible speaker.
ReplyDeleteI'm very pleased with the topic given to me, because it's something that is debatable and I can find a lot of passion in. Having passion allows for more room to be a better speaker and presenter, so I'm excited to see the outcome of what my group and I create.
Yes i was pleased with the group that was given to me. I am also pleased with the topic that my group received. I think the topic is intriguing and will be fun and interesting to research as well as present to the class. I think it would be super easy to find positives and negatives but i think thats what gives this topic the excitement that i like when working and researching things.
